Our Hives

All production hives are double queened. These double queened hives remain separate during the season which provides single box hives available for sale, from April until September.

Each hive will consist of:

• Full depth brood chamber – New, paraffin dipped and painted with two coats of paint
• Full depth frames – 8  frames in good condition, drawn out
• Full depth feeder – New, 2 frame, filled with bracken
• Hive mat –  New, paraffin dipped
• Hive lid – New, galvanized sprung end, one handle
• Propolis mat – mesh type
• Hive strap  – New, galvanized 5.2 m

Hives can be supplied on pallets or as single hive units

All hives are guaranteed to have a healthy queen, laying viable eggs at the time of purchase. The age of the queens is estimated at 10 to 12 months. Depending on the time of the bees will cover 6 to 8 frames, with 3 to 4 frames with queens of all ages. Hives are guaranteed to be disease-free.
